OIL SEAL 150X180X15 NBR W/DUST LIP

OTS15018015WBS is an oil seal and can be used in rotary/axial moving applications. The material used on this oil seal is made of NBR/Carbon steel. The maximum allowed pressure is 0,5 BAR.

The dimensions has an inner diameter of 150 mm, an outer diameter of 180 mm and a height of 15 mm.

About the sealing profile OT-WBS

The metal ring of the OT-WBS profile is not cast in NBR and is therefore exposed. The advantage of this profile is that it can be used for particularly firm and precise positioning in the bore. It also has an extra protective lip which helps keep dirt and dust out.

About the material NBR/Carbon steel

Nitrile is a widely used nitrile butadiene and acrylo nitrile polymer. The NBR formulas typically contains between 30% and 50% acrylonitrile (ACN). The NBR which has a working temperature between -40°C and +100°C show extremely high resistance under different working conditions such as mineral oils (H, H-L and H-LP type lubricating oils) and grease and mineral based fire resistance oils (HFB and HFC group oils), vegetable and organic oils, and aliphatic hydrocarbons (propane, butane, petrol). NBR is not recommended for aromatic hydrocarbons (benzene, trichloroethylene, HFD type fire resistance oils), glycol and ether contained break hydraulics.
