V-PACK ROD 180X150X30.5

STE121-180-150-030 is a v-pack rod that works as single acting - 3 pieces and can be used in piston applications. The material used on this v-pack rod is made of POM/NBR-FABRIC. The maximum allowed pressure is 400 BAR.

The dimensions has an inner diameter of 150 mm, an outer diameter of 180 mm and a height of 30.5 mm.

About the sealing profile STE121

STE121 Packings are made up of several ‘’V’’ shaped rings in combinations that are preformed and moulded with NBR applied on NBR-fabric. They consist of 3 elements in total. The first element is a POM front ring, then 1 fabriced NBR middle ring and lastly 1 fabriced NBR-ring. These packings are recommended to be used in piston applications and assembled to open seal housing.

About the material POM/NBR-FABRIC

Polyacetal (POM) (Polyoxymethylene) materials are used as back-up rings or guidening element materials in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. There are two types of POM, filled with or without fibreglass, depending on their use. Despite working temperatures ranging from -40°C to +140°C, real dimensions can not remain stable in excess of 100°C. It can be used safely with mineral oils and HFA, HFB type oils. Types with added fibreglass provide longer lasting contact pressure resistance. NBR-fabric is a synthetic woven NBR material which enhances the durability of the seal.
