A refractometer is an optical measuring device with which the user can determine the mixing ratio of numerous different solutions.
The UREA / AdBlue refractometer is widely used in the automotive industry and is ideal for reliable immediate analysis. AdBlue, a mixture of distilled water and synthetic urea (Urea), is used in the automotive industry as a diesel additive. It is used to reduce the nitrogen oxide emissions and to comply with the legally prescribed emission standards worldwide. When stored over longer periods of time, Adblue can gradually decompose.
With the help of the digital AdBlue refractometer, the urea-water solution can be checked quickly and easily. An easy handling and its waterproof housing make the test instrument an indispensable device for inspecting the AdBlue diesel additive which provides the user with important helpful information within seconds.
The temperature influence during the application is internally compensated by the meter (ATC). The measurement result is displayed quickly and accurately on the large, easy-to-read LC display of the AdBlue refractometer after this automatic temperature compensation (10° to 40°C).
1xAAA battery included.
Choose between two measurement parameters:
• Urea (NH2) / AdBlue (2CO) (0 to 51.0%).
• Refractive index (1.3330 to 1.4056 nD).
In addition, due to an integrated temperature indicator, the display provides information about the measured temperature of the liquid
