A refractometer is an optical measuring device used to measure the refractive index of various liquids. There are different types of refractometers, some of which are stationary and others hand-held or digital. But they all work based on the same principle of the refractive index of light. With a refractometer you can measure the sugar content of fruit and malt, the water content of honey, the antifreeze's ability to keep liquids frost-free, the density of urine or the acid content of a battery. Likewise, a refractometer can measure salt solutions in e.g. seawater and the alcohol content in clear alcohol or the alcohol solution in e.g. IPA alcohol in a geothermal system. Digital refractometer is an optical measuring device with which the user can determine the mixing ratio between many different solutions. This refractometer can check the concentration of glycol with just a small amount of liquid. Simple handling and the waterproof housing make the test instrument an indispensable unit for GLYKOL inspection, which provides the user with important useful information within a few seconds. The body is made of chrome-plated brass, which makes this refractometer very durable and resistant to chemical corrosion. It means that the service life is increased many times compared to ordinary aluminum housings. The temperature effect during application is compensated internally by the meter (ATC). The measurement result is shown quickly and accurately on the large, easy-to-read LC display of the glycol refractometer after this automatic temperature compensation The user of the test instrument can choose between four measurement parameters: • S01: Cleaner -40° - 0°C • SO2: Ethylene Glycol -50° - 0°C • S03: Propylene Glycol -50° - 0°C • S04: Battery fluid - 1000 - 1500sg For example for Spark work - cooling systems - solar cells etc. Delivered in a plastic box with a screwdriver and pipette.
