These sales and delivery conditions apply to the purchase of goods on mw.dk for delivery in Denmark, but not Greenland and the Faroe Islands.
When you have ordered an item from us, you will receive a receipt per email for our receipt of your order. M. Wilhelmsen A/S reserves the right to change or cancel an order after ordering as a result of printing errors, technical problems, delivery failure, fair-use clause and similar situations.
Mw.dk is open 24 hours a day, so you can almost always shop. However, it may happen that we close the shop due to maintenance. You can only make online purchases when the store is open and available.
You select the items you want to buy and put them in the "shopping basket". You can correct the contents of the shopping basket right up to the time of ordering, and you can continuously check the contents and the price of the goods.
Any additional payments for e.g. shipping will only be calculated immediately before you are ready to pay.
You are obliged to provide a correct address for the delivery of the goods. If the address you have provided cannot be confirmed, M. Wilhelmsen A/S reserves the right to withhold delivery and cancel the order.
Mw.dk can cancel an order if it is not possible to deliver the ordered product. You will be notified should such a situation arise, and any payment or reservation made on a means of payment will be returned/cancelled.
In order to trade as a business on mw.dk, you must first have requested a business account, where you will then be given a login to the webshop. You can request a business account via one of our forms at mw.dk. All prices are shown excl. VAT. However, the price can also be read incl. VAT.
The minimum amount for a purchase on mw.dk is EUR 55 excl. VAT and freight (APPLICABLE TO BUSINESSES ONLY).
There is NO right of cancellation when you buy as a business.
Goods cannot be returned unless a written agreement is made to this effect. Such an agreement must be entered into in writing with the acceptance of our department manager Karina Lund Madsen. If it is agreed that goods can be returned, return shipments must be in unbroken and undamaged original packaging with the original invoice number and date indicated. M. Wilhelmsen A/S reserves the right to deduct a return fee of minimum 20% of the invoiced price or a minimum of DKK 100 per returned item line. Parts that cannot be reused are deducted from the credit note. Credit notes with a value of less than DKK 300.00 will not be issued.
Validity and application The trading conditions below apply to all offers, sales and deliveries from M. Wilhelmsen A/S, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
To shop as a private person on mw.dk, you must be 18 years of age and in possession of a valid payment card that we accept. All prices are shown excl. VAT. However, the price can also be read incl. VAT.
We do not charge a card fee and the amount is only withdrawn from your card when the item is dispatched. The minimum amount for a purchase on mw.dk is EUR 55 excl. VAT.
When you shop at mw.dk, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal, during which you can inform us that you regret the purchase and then return the item to us. The right of withdrawal runs from the day you received the item. If the deadline expires on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve, the deadline is extended to the following weekday.
After receipt, you may only handle the goods in a way that allows you to determine the nature of the goods. It is not permitted to break seals, seals or protective packaging.
In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of this by means of an unequivocal statement no later than 14 days after receiving the goods. If you wish to cancel your purchase, you can use our standard cancellation form available here. If this form is used, you do not need to inform us of your regret in any other way.
IMPORTANT
We expect you to send the goods as soon as possible after you have given notice of cancellation, and you must send them back no later than 14 days after you have canceled.
When returning, you should ensure that the goods are securely wrapped. You are responsible for the package/goods yourself until we receive them. Therefore, keep the receipt from the freight forwarder as well as any track and trace number.
If the item has lost value and this is because you have used it in a way other than what was necessary to determine the nature of the item, you can only get a part of the purchase amount back. The amount you can get back depends on the commercial value of the item, and in some cases it may mean that you can only get back any shipping costs. Missing original packaging can, for example, constitute a reduction in value, so to be sure of being able to receive all the money back, it is recommended that the item is returned in original packaging. All marks must be on the goods.
You must pay the costs yourself when returning the item when you regret it. Private individuals cannot physically return to our stores. Therefore, please send the goods to:

You must enclose a copy of the order confirmation or other documentation for your purchase. Please complete a return form before returning per mail.
If M. Wilhelmsen A/S has reason to suspect that there is abuse, fraud, harassment, excessive/pathological buying behavior on the part of the customer, we will reject the order with reference to this "fair use" clause.
In that context, suspicions are based on a number of objective, non-discriminatory criteria, including: A weighing/weighting of purchase frequency, order composition, return composition, use of free delivery and returns, delayed returns/uncollected orders, alleged missing items in shipments either outgoing or incoming, multi-returns (ordering and returning identical items repeatedly), attempting to circumvent a previous rejection, using a false or someone else's identity. We emphasize that the behavior is at the same time systematic, and not random/one-off.
The identification of buying patterns that must be considered abnormal and outside the scope of what we consider "acceptable buying behavior and buying culture" is done via an algorithm that is based on a number of different parameters. If a customer is identified by the algorithm, we will assess on a case-by-case basis whether a customer should be refused to place an order with M. Wilhelmsen A/S - either for a period or forever.
If we recognize unacceptable purchasing behavior as described above, we reserve the right to refuse to enter into transactions with the customers in question and/or put the customers in question on hold. As in any case, a deal is only finally concluded with M. Wilhelmsen A/S when we have sent an "order confirmation and receipt".
The "fair use" clause does not prevent customers from returning, but can in specific cases prevent customers from buying. The "fair use" clause is thus not applied to already accepted orders.
When we receive the item, we check it and you will be reimbursed the amount you paid us at the time of purchase within 14 days.
We can withhold the refund until we have received the item back.
The amount is always transferred to the same means of payment with which you paid for the purchase. For example, if you have paid by card, the purchase amount will be refunded to the payment card you used for the purchase.

If an item is returned in violation of our returns policy, then we are not obligated to refund you for the item.
It is of course a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect did not arise as a result of incorrect use of the product or other damage-causing behaviour.
You must contact us within a "reasonable time"
You must advertise within a "reasonable time" after you have discovered the lack of the item. We recommend that you complain as soon as possible and within 1 week after the error was discovered.

The defect must be clearly visible on at least one of the pictures. Additionally, ensure that your photographs show the entire product, once on the front and back.
In the event of a justified complaint, we will refund reasonable shipping costs.
If the complaint is justified, we will of course refund your reasonable shipping costs by sending the item back to us. Otherwise, you must bear all transport costs yourself, including our freight costs for returning the goods after examination.
Remember that the item must always be sent in proper packaging and receive a receipt for dispatch. You are responsible for the package/goods yourself until we receive them. Therefore, save the postal receipt incl. information on shipping costs and any track and trace number.
Note! We do not receive packages sent by cash on delivery or similar.
We regularly offer discount codes as part of our marketing. These codes are only valid for limited periods and may be subject to special conditions. The codes may be restricted to being usable only in connection with particular products, categories or brands.
When you use a discount code, you must buy for the specified minimum amount. If you purchase for less than the specified minimum amount, the difference will not be refunded. Any discount code you wish to use must be entered in the purchase process before you pay for the order. You cannot get a forgotten discount code credited after the order has been placed. Only 1 discount code can be used per order.
The discount codes are not personal and can be used by the holder. The discount codes have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash, vouchers or the like.
In the event of fraud, attempted fraud or in the event of suspicion of other illegal activities in connection with the redemption of discount codes, we are entitled to cancel the discount code, to cancel the order on which the discount code has been used and to block your ability to shop at mw.dk too permanent.
